The push-rod fitting is used for opening a window or door. It is mounted and covered in a groove, esp. a wing rebate, with a device for length-adjustable connection of two recessed metal push-rods for suspension of metal components, with coupling piece bearing two adjustably linked slides with a rod engaging the recesses. The slides (16, 17) in a housing unit (15), have teeth for adjustable connection, and one has a guide lug (21) near the end (28) of a serrated attachment (29), protruding into a guide slit in the housing. On the slit there is a side extension deep enough for the slide teeth to be disengaged sideways. There is a block in this extension. This permits adjustment when built in, even with the groove covered, with no depression in the bottom of the groove. |
