PURPOSE:To provide an image recorder preventing adverse effect on a control substrate by developer suspending in the image recorder and preventing adverse effect by the temperature rise of the control substrate. CONSTITUTION:In this image recorder 1, an image is recorded on recording paper 4 fed by paper feeding parts 2, 6 and 7 by an image forming part at least constituted of an image carrier 15, a latent image forming means 9, a developing means 47 incorporating the developer, a transfer means 18 and a cleaning means 28 removing the residual developer on the surface of the image carrier 15. The image recorder is provided with the control substrates 31a and 31b arranged below the image forming part, a shielding member 32a disposed between the image forming part and the substrates 31 a and 31b so as to isolate the substrates 31 a and 31b, and a ventilating means exhausting air in a space isolated by the member 32a to the outside of the recorder 1. |
