PURPOSE:To provide an imperfect burning prevention device which is highly accurate and prevents CO poisoning accidents by installing fixing hardware under an inverse bias thermocouple attached to the center of the inner shell of a heat exchanger so that a constant distance may be maintained between the burner and inner shell of the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:Fixing hardware 17 is supported to the lower end of the inner shell 5 by engaging the upper slit 17a to it, and its lower part is fixed to a burner holder 3 by a screw 21. When the appliance is started for burning, the flame of the burner 2 is stabilized, and the air flow between the burner 2 and the inner shell 5 becomes constant. Then, the ambient temperature of an inverse bias thermocouple 22 is maintained nearly constant, and the electromotive force of the inverse bias thermocouple 22 is stabilized. Therefore, CO/CO2 is regulated within the tolerance, assuring the safety, at the time of an oxygen starvation or clogged fins. |
