An incubator comprises at least one egg rack having a frame 4, 5 and 6 mounted on a movable base 3 and having two rocking assemblies carried by shafts 7 which extend longitudinally between cross beams 5 at the front and rear of the egg rack, vertical suspension rods 9 carry a number of vertically spaced U-shaped larger members 10 which support the ends of the carrier beams 13 of a supporting frame for the egg trays 20, the beams 13 being connected at both ends by bar members 16 forming handles for lifting the supporting frame. The bar members have tapered ends 17 which are received in holes cut out in the hanger members 10. Each supoprting frame will hold four stacks each of three egg trays 20. The rows of projections 21 and 23 on the egg trays 20 are staggered with respect to each other so that the trays can be stacked one upon the other. |
