PURPOSE:To prevent the disturbance of images and the degradation of the response delay of a display reproduction at the time of a reproduction interruption, an interruption resumption or the omission of image data due to the temporary lowering of the data transfer capacity of a center, in the multimedia information storage exchange system between a communication terminal and the center. CONSTITUTION:At a center 2, a video frame is detected or extracted at a multiplexing data transmission part 13, without depending on whether the the image data storage form of multimedia multiplexing data is by a video frame unit or not, and the fill bit insertion when the transfer control by a video frame unit and transfer data do not exist is performed. A data monitoring is performed also for the omission of image data to a communication terminal 1 due to the temporary lowering of the data transfer capacity between a storage device 14 and the multiplexing data transmission part 13 and the fill bit insertion is performed. By performing these transfer control and insertion control of fill bit, generating an FEC frame and transmitting the frame to the communication terminal 1, the disturbance of images and the step-out in the communication terminal 1 degradating a response delay are eliminated. |
