<p>The mesh is made of elastic material with engaging and fastening strips, which are free from apertures, and with which the mesh is fastened onto frames, or supports, so that the sieve surface is tensioned. Instead of a frame, a tensioning grid may be supplied to the sieve bottom, the grid being rigid but deformable. Due to flat pressing, rolling, or stretching of the tensioning arches of the grid, a zone by zone tensioning of the elastic sieve bottom is achieved.</p> |
