<p>Fast cooling of tunnel kiln charges by the twin cooling effect derived firstly from the installation of rectangular cooling pipes along the kiln walls and ceiling and secondly from fresh air being pushed into the furnace from slots etc. Situated between these cooling pipes, baffles promote even coolant air distribution and heat exchange. Only one blower is used for this, the stream of air being divided and fed into the furnace and pipes via distribution boxses arranged along the outside walls and ceiling.</p> |
