The dish is a hollow receptacle (1) which is square, round or polygonal. It is closed by a transparent plastics film (3) which can be peeled off, and is fixed on the peripheral edge (2) of the dish. The lateral wall of the dish has internal vertical ribs (4) at its corners which stiffen it. It has a tab (5) which allows the plastics film to be gripped. The dish is made in moulded plastics material which is at least 0.5 mm. thick.
