<p>The building is erected from wooden frames, each identical for a particular type of building. The roof is positioned immediately following the erection of the sides, leaving the interior covered for completion of internal finishes. Foundations for the building are light because wood is used. An insulating air barrier is created between the inner and outer skins which cover the wooden frames. The structure has a great flexibility which makes it resilient to seismic vibrations. By using screwed bolts, the building can be dismantled and re-erected, which makes it suitable for adaptation to a Do-it-Yourself or kit form.</p> |
