<p>The manufacturing process is for racing and other bicycle frames, and instead of fitting the tubes in the junction pieces, the latter are fitted inside the tubes. The fork is in one piece. Frames for tandem bicycles can be collapsible. The junction pieces can be so fitted inside the tubes as to avoid any swellings in the latter. For tandem bicycles, the effort to operate the rear brake can be reduced by the mounting of a transmission lever at the base of the diagonal frame tube. Where the frame is in two parts, they can be secured together by conical couplings, locked in engagement by tightening a screw clamp.</p> |
