The clothing marker consists of a metal label. This peace has a support surface (1) on which inscriptions are made. Near to the edges of the piece are rectangular slots (2). The dimensions of the slots (2) are such that a band or strap (7) can pass through them. The walls (3) of each slot (2) are doubly folded along AA' and BB' at angles of 90 deg. so that that are perpendicular to the surface (1). The band or strap (7) then planes through the piece.
