PURPOSE:To readily obtain reverberation effect by providing a main gap and a reveberating gap to the core wound with a coil. CONSTITUTION:A main gap 14 provided to a core 12, a reverberating gap 15 provided in the position deviated to the tape advancing direction side than this main gap 14, a magnetic shield plate 16 are provided. Magnetic lines of force are produced in the main gap 14 and the reverberating gap 15 of the core 12, thereby inducing electromotive force. At this time, a delay is caused between the magnetic lines of force produced in the main gap 14 and in the reverberating gap 15 depending upon the relations between the running speeds of magnetic tape and their spacings. The magnetic line of force obtained by the reverberating gap 15 applies reverberation. |
