WATER STOP WORKING USING QUICKKHARDENABLE CEMENT

PURPOSE:To effectively stop water from the underground and to stabilize the soil in a good workability by treating water-liquid area and its nearabout with simultaneous high-pressure injection of aq. fine cement powder suspension and quick- hardenable aq. suspension of calcium aluminate and gypsum. CONSTITUTION:(A) A quick-hardenable aq. suspension obtained by suspending in water (a) 100pts.wt. of calcium aluminate and (b) 10-500pts.wt. of gypsum, and (B) aq. suspension of fine cement powder having the degree of pulverization greater than 5000cm<2>/g in the Blain unit are injected with high pressure at watered area discharged from the underground and its surroundings so as to stop the water. More pref., (B) suspension is first injected at the watered area or the surrounding to replace the water with (B) suspension, then both (A) and (B) suspensions are injected under high pressure thereby to stop the water, stabilizing the soil.
