<p>PURPOSE:A pyrogenic composition that is prepared by adding a water-soluble salf from organic base and inorganic acid as a reaction accelerator to a metal having higher ionization tendency than hydrogen, thus being suitably used for disposable body warmers because it generates heat rapidly by reaction with water and oxygen to maintain high temperatures for many hours. CONSTITUTION:(A) A metal having a higher ionization tendency than hydrogen, preferably iron, is combined with (B) a water-soluble salf from organic base and inorganic acid such as methylamine hydrochloride as a reaction accelerator in an amount of preferably more than 1 part per 100pts. of component A by weight. The resultant mixture is used as the effective components and they are made to react with preferably 10-100pts. of water and oxygen to generate heat. The water is preferably used in the form that it is adsorbed on 10-100pts, per 100pts. of component A, of water retention agent. EFFECT:Dangers leading to nature destruction are lessened.</p> |
