<p>The panel-shaped unit is made of natural or artificial stone. It is mounted on the outside of a building wall to serve as a facing element. Inside the panel unit there is a duct (10) for a flowing heat-carrier, with both its ends opening out onto the outside surface of the panel. The duct can be in the form of a groove (3) worked into the panel surface, closed flush with it, containing a pipe and cavity filler or a flat rubber or sheet metal container, with filler in joints between panels. This can be incorporated in a solar energy system, without marring the appearance of the facade.</p> |
