PURPOSE:To provide a direct liquid feed type writing instrument in which the inner diameter of a barrel can be increased and which has a long writable distance without reverse flow of ink. CONSTITUTION:A direct liquid feed type writing instrument directly fills ink in a barrel having a large inner diameter and a pen body disposed at its end, and comprises disclike front and rear tops 51 and 52 disposed near the bore of the barrel 1 at the tail end side of the barrel 1, and a pastelike back-flow preventive element 6 disposed between the tops 51 and 52, wherein ink I is filled at the front side of the front top, and the front and rear tops are advanced as the ink is consumed. |
