PURPOSE:To obtain almost the optimum characteristic with a given number of taps and comparatively smaller operating steps for the desing, by taking a specific signal as a tap weight coefficient for an equalizer with transversal filter constitution. CONSTITUTION:An input signal is inputted to a delay line TP, a tap weight is given to an output of each tape width a coefficient device CP and an equalized output is obtained as a total sum S of each output. Further, a tap weight controller is provided with a means MG taking an autocorrelation function of impulse response of a circuit to be equalized as an input Q1 and giving an autocorrelation matrix, a means EC giving the specific value and specific vector, means IM1-IMN obtaining the inner product between the specific vector and a vector I, 1st multiplication means SM1-SMN giving the result of multiplication of reciprocal of a root between the inner product and the specific value, 2nd multiplication means VM1-VMN giving the multiplication between the said result of multiplication and specific vectors M33.1-M33.N, and a total adder VS taking the total sum of the outputs, allowing to take an element of an output vector of the total adder as a tap weight coefficient. |
