POLYBUTYLENE TEREPHTHALATE RESIN COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:The titled composition having extremely improved releasability without lowering tensile elongation ratio, obtained by adding an ester of a specific aliphatic carboxylic acid and a specified aliphatic alcohol to polybutylene terephthalate. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. polybutylene terephthalate is blended with 0.01- 5pts.wt., preferably 0.05-1pts.wt. ester of 14-20C aliphatic carboxylic acid and 14-20C aliphatic alcohol. The addition of 0.01-5pts.wt. paraffin wax to the resin improves further the releasability. Paraffin wax having a number-average molecular weight of about 410-480 is preferably as the paraffin wax.
