PURPOSE:To transfer a transfer layer while imparting a metallic luster excellent in decorative property, by a method wherein a transfer foil comprised of a base film, a coating resin layer, a printed pattern layer and a vapor-deposited layer is laminated on an object body through an adhesive layer, and the whole is pressed. CONSTITUTION:The transfer foil 12 comprised of, as required, a releasing layer (e.g., a silicone resin) 6, a strong coating resin layer (e.g., polyvinyl chloride) 2, the printed pattern layer 3, the vapor-deposited layer (e.g., Al) 4 and the adhasive layer 7 which are provided as a transfer layer 5 on the base film (e.g., polyehtylene terephthalate) 1 is let out from a letting-out shaft 11, is supplied to a pair of pressure rolls 14a, 14b through a tensioning roll 13, and on the other hand, the object body 16 wound around a letting-out shaft 15 is let out and is supplied to the pressure rolls 14a, 14b through a tensioning roll 17. After laminating the transfer foil 12 and the object body 16 as one body between the pressure rols, the transfer layer 5 is transferred onto the object body 16 by releasing the base film 1. |
