<p>A portable, auxiliary door lock (10) includes a locking plate (12) having an anchor (20) adapted to be received in the striking plate opening of a door jamb. The locking plate is slidably received by a body portion (14) that has a door-engaging face (30). The anchor and door-engaging face may be adjustably positioned and secured in place to effect locking of the door by means of a toggle-like pivot assembly (16) mounted on the plate and body portion.</p> |
