PURPOSE:To read a digital signal such as a data or a program in place of a digital audio signal by allowing the addressing of a digital signal of a main channel. CONSTITUTION:A reproducing signal of an optical head 4 is fed to a clock extracting circuit 10 via an RF amplifier 9 and a data and a clock are fed to a frame synchronism detecting circuit 11. A digital signal recorded on a compact disc 1 is subject to FM modulation. A digital demodulation circuit 12 is constituted so as to demodulate an EFM. A sub coding signal is separated at the digital demodulation circuit 12, the sub coding signal is fed to a system controller 14 via a buffer circuit 13 having an FIFO buffer register 21, and a desired digital signal is read from the compact disc 1 using the sub coding signal. |
