PURPOSE:To efficiently prepare desalted sea sand as a fine aggregate for concrete by small equipment, by stepwise arranging three kinds of a screen for discharging sand particles having a desired particle size and foreign matter, a screen for obtaining sand particles having a desired particle size and removing seawater and a screen for washing sea sand. CONSTITUTION:Sea sand and seawater pumped up to the water receiving tank 4 provided to the upper part of a screen stand 27 by a sand pump flow down on a circular arc screen 6 for removing coarse sand, and foreign matter and sea sand having a definite particle size or more are discharged to a conveyor 7. Sea sand having the definite particle size or less is dehydrated by the circular arc screen 8 for removing seawater provided to the lower part of the stand 27 to flow in the monolithic type desalting and washing screen 10 positioned at the forward lower part of said screen 8 in an almost horizontal or upwardly inclined state. Sea sand is successively moved on the rocking screen 10, and washed and desalted by recovered washing water in the first half part of the screen and washed with fresh water in the latter half part thereof to be sent out to a dehydration screen conveyor 16.
