PURPOSE:To produce a new and delicious torn ink-impregnated cuttlefish by utilizing cuttlefish ink to improve the added value of a torn cuttlefish and provide its production method. CONSTITUTION:This ink-impregnated cuttlefish is produced by immersing cut mantle of a cuttlefish in a cuttlefish ink-containing seasoned liquid prepared in advance, adsorbing the liquid thereto, heat treating it to fix the seasoned liquid and tearing it into a suitable width. If described in more detail, the mantle part of raw cuttlefish is cut, heated, subsequently primarily seasoned and then dried to a suitable degree to prepare a semi-finished product. The resultant semi-finished product is immersed in a cuttlefish ink-containing seasoned liquid prepared in advance to allow the seasoned liquid to penetrate into the inside of the cuttlefish flesh and absorb it. The treated material is then roasted by using a roaster, etc., to fix the seasoned liquid. It is rolled by a roller, etc., and subsequently torn into a suitable width by using a tearing machine. |
