PURPOSE:To maintain always stable characteristics in continuous use or under high-temp. and high-humidity conditions by specifying the electric resistance value of a core having an intermediate layer and incorporating a positive electrostatic charge impartable resin into a triboelectrostatic charge control layer. CONSTITUTION:The carrier used for an electrostatic charge developing agent which develops the electrostatic latent image formed by electrostatic charge to negative with toner particles charged to positive with a device such as for electrophotography is formed by specifying the electric resistance value of the core having the intermediate layer to >=1X10<12>OMEGA.cm and incorporating the positive electrostatic charge impartable resin into the triboelectrostatic charge control layer. The always stable positive electrostatic chargeability is thereby obtd. and the development without roughening the image quality is enabled without degrading the triboelectrostatic charge impartability to the toner particles even under the high-temp. and high-humidity conditions.
