摘要 PURPOSE: To find the amount of an objective component contained in an assay sample by measuring the sample while the sample is made to flow through an analyzing area, and then, measuring the sample after correction by introducing the corrected sample to an analyzing section and subtracting the measured value before correction from the measured value after correction. CONSTITUTION: The first part of a diluted sample is brought into contact with an ammonium electrode 44, an oxygen electrode 50, and a reference electrode 56 and the second part of the diluted sample is introduced to a reaction chamber coil 92 and comes into contact with urease enzyme and glucose oxidase enzyme immobilized to the internal surface of the coil 92. Then, after a pump 64 is actuated and the first part of the sample is vibrated, the outputs of the electrodes 44, 50, and 56 are recorded by means of a controller 72 and a first data value is obtained. After the glucose and enzyme of the second part of the sample react to the glucose oxidase enzyme and the urea reacts to the urease enzyme, the pump 64 is actuated and the second diluted sample is sucked to the electrodes 44, 50, and 56 from the reaction chamber 92. Then the second part of the sample is vibrated by again actuating the pump 64, second data indicating the apparent ammonium concentration of a converted sample mixture is read.
