<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a stable O2 absorber, by wrapping an O2 absorbent containing no water in an air-permeable material, wrapping separately water in a steam-permeable but water-impermeable material, and sealing both in a casing made up of an air-impermeable material. CONSTITUTION:An O2 absorbent package 1, with absorbent composed mainly of iron powder, ascorbic acid, ferrous sulfate wrapped in an air permeable material comprising a laminated layer of polyethylene and nonwoven fabric, and a water package 2, with water wrapped in a water-impermeable but steam- permeable material comprising a laminated layer of thermoplastic urethane and nonwoven fabric, are sealed in a casing 3 comprising an air-impermeable material. In the O2 absorbent thus obtained, before use the O2 absorbent and water are separated, preventing O2 absorbing reactions, whereas when in use water is supplied by aging, resulting in a stable operating condition.</p> |
