PURPOSE:To simplify the change in the subcarrier attribute due to the insertion of an IC card at the change in a subscriber data by storing each subscriber attribute data into a memory of the IC card. CONSTITUTION:The IC card whose memory stores a subscriber attribute data is loaded to an IC card reader attached to a packet switching equipment 1 to read the memory content of the IC card into a memory area 2 thereby allowing the access to the equipment 1. In case of registering a data onto the IC card, the IC card reader 3 is operated to send an IC card registration command 10, and after registration command replay 11 is sent, the data is registered rom the memory area 2 onto the IC card. Thus, the change subscriber attribute is facilitated.
