<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a flame-retarding polyamide containing an organohalogen compound as the flame retardant and prevented from undergoing gas generation, foaming, coloring, etc., during melt molding by using a specified high-MW halogenous flame retardant and a specified inorganic Mg compound. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. polyamide resin composition (A) (30-89wt.% polyamide resin, 0-50wt.% fibrous inorganic reinforcement, 10-35wt.% halogenated polystyrene or halogenated polyphenylene ether of a halogen content of 50-70wt.% and a weight-average MW >=5000, and 1-10wt.% at least one flame- retarding aid selected from among Sb2O3, SnO2, Fe2O3 and ZnO) is mixed with 0.01-10 pts.wt., desirably 0.05-8 pts.wt. hydrotalcite and/or Mg and Al-containing inorganic compound of formulas I and/or II (wherein 0<x<0.4, 0<y<0.6, and m is 0 or a positive integer) to obtain a flame-retarding polyamide resin composition.</p> |
