The invention relates to a mechanically pressurized system for dispensing a product. The problems associated with existing dispensers is that they rely upon chemical propellants to pressurize the product which are harmful to the environment and also they require large number of working parts making manufacturing costs prohibitive. The current invention includes a cap (20) that houses a piston (42), an actuator (100) attached to the cap (20) so as to form a dispensing head assembly (72), and an expandable reservoir (130) that is mechanically charged by the piston (42) and dispensing head (72) to hold a product for discharge through the dispensing head (72).
