PURPOSE: To provide a processing method advantageous on work efficiency for concurrently processing two kinds of environmental pollutive materials in one process. CONSTITUTION: A hydrocarbon compound containing an undistillable component and a feed material containing a halide organic compound are brought into contact, with a hot hydrogen rich gas stream, the temperature of the feed material stream rises, at least a part of the distillable hydrocarbon compound is vaporized to obtain a distillable hydrocarbon product, and it is immediately hydrogenated in a hydrogenation zone. The feed material containing the halide organic compound is brought into contact in the second hydrogenation zone under a hydrogenation condition to obtain a hydrogenated hydrocarbon product and at least one kind of a water-soluble inorganic halogen compound. Two kinds of environmental pollutive feed materials are concurrently processed in this method. |
