AUTOMATIC SCANNING DEVICE FOR ULTRASONIC PRODUCTS CONTROL

The apparatus is intended for non-destructive checking of welds in machine construction, resulting in improved reliability of examination and a broader range of applications. The apparatus includes a shifting mechanism attached on top of a base, so that each assembly for attachment of the mechanism is in the shape of a two-beam yoke with rollers freely moving attached to the base, with numerous of freely moving segments attached between the beams and rigidly attached to the base.Each of the assemblies for attachment of the ultrasonic transducer blocks to the base is in the form of a bar with holders that use flexible metal strips to anchor the ultrasonic transducer blocks.
