NOVELTY SHOE An article of footwear includes a shoe and an integral unit mounted in the shoe. The integral unit has at least one illuminating element positioned for visibility exterior of the shoe, a loudspeaker driver mounted for production of sound audible external of the shoe; a power source to energize the illuminating element and loudspeaker driver; and a switch for selectively connecting the power source simultaneously to the illuminating element and the loudspeaker driver. The pocket opening is closed with a recloseable fastener.
