PURPOSE:To more efficiently agitate and mix a material to be treated and to prevent the deformation of the material by providing a baffle to the inner wall of a rotary drum while incling its ridge line to the rotating shaft line of the drum, angling the section vertical to the ridge line and specifying both front and rear inclined parts. CONSTITUTION:When a granular body is coated, a closing lid 15 is firstly opened, and a material 1 to be treated is charged into a coating chamber 9 from the feed port 14 of a rotary drum 2. A motor 6 is then driven to rotate the drum 2 and to roll the material 1, and a coating soln. is sprayed from a spray nozzle 16. Dry air 12 is successively introduced into the chamber 9 from an air feed duct 11, passed through the accumulation of the materials and discharged into the air duct and exhaust duct 13 from an air hole 10. At this time, a baffle 18 is provided to the inner wall 2 of the drum 2 while inclining the ridge line to the rotating shaft line.
