摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To control the shape of the rolled sheet material with good responsiveness over a wide range by controlling the injection rate of the high-temp. coolant on an inlet side according to rolling conditions and controlling the injection rate of the low-temp. coolant on an outlet side according to the detected shape of the rolled sheet material. CONSTITUTION:The high-temp. coolant C is injected to the roll gaps between work rolls 50 and the rolled sheet material S and the surfaces of the material S on the inlet side by nozzles 1, 2 for high temp. which are installed in may pieces in the axial direction of the rolls of the cold rolling device which rolls the material S by the work rolls 50, by which the above-mentioned material is cooled. The injection rate of the high-temp. coolant C is controlled according to the rolling conditions by a controller 23 for high temp. On the other hand, the many nozzle 3 for low temp. are disposed in the axial direction of the work rolls 50 and the low-temp. coolant Cc which is kept lower than the temp. of the above-mentioned high-temp. coolant C is injected to the surface of the work rolls 50 to cool the rolls. The injection rate of the low-temp. coolant Cc is controlled by a controller 34 for low temp. in accordance with the values detected by many pieces of shape detectors 59 disposed in the transverse direction of the material S, by which the thermal crown is corrected and the shape of the material S is controlled.</p>
