<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the focus adjustment work of a light source and an image-forming element and to improve light-emitting sensitivity and light- receiving sensitivity by using one image-forming element and one substrate. CONSTITUTION:At the time of reading, an electric signal is outputted, an electromagnetic solenoid is conducted and a transparent board 34 is moved so that it covers the upper part of the image-forming element 26. An original 38 is inserted between a photosensitive drum 37 and the surface of the transparent board 34 at the same time as the movement, and it is moved to a right direction. The printing of the original 38 is irradiated with light which is outputted from the linear light source 28 and whose focus is adjusted, and a data signal is supplied to a terminal 22. At the time of writing, the output of the electric signal stops, the transparent board 34 opens the upper part of the image-forming element 26 and it moves so that it exposes the lower surface of the photosensitive drum 37. At that time, the original 38 is not supplied. When the data signal is inputted to a terminal 17, a light-emitting area 14 is selectively emitted, the light passes through the image-forming element 26 and the focus is adjusted. A latent image is selectively formed on the surface of the photosensitive drum 37.</p> |
