<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting tool suitable for hot-line work by possessing a shank receiver which performs the positioning of a split pin to be inserted into the split pin hole at the shank of a cotter pin of the like, a lock which locks the split pin to the sliding shaft sliding within a through hole, and a depressing mechanism which depresses the sliding shaft through an operation rod consisting electric of insulating material. SOLUTION: A mounting tool (a) is composed of a main body 1 and a nipper 10. Here, first the collar 5b of the sliding shaft 5 is depressed with the catching piece 10b of the nipper 10 to push out a spring pin 5a out of a sealing plate 4, and the ring part of a split pin is installed on this spring pin 5a. Next, the repressing of the sliding shaft 5 is dissolved to let the sliding shaft 5 shift by the coil spring 5c, and the insertion end of the split pin is positioned at the guide part 3a. Next, the body 1 is shifted to the side of the cotter pin, and the shank of the cotter pin is inserted into the shank receiver 2, and the center of the split pin of the shank of the cotter pin is aligned with the center of the sliding shaft 5, and then the sliding shaft 5 is pressed with the nipper 10 to insert the split pin into the split pin hole.</p> |
