PURPOSE:To prevent a bed for nursing from being a hindrance when it is unused by folding a back part base plate and a foot part base plate on a center base part and mounting a cover on them loadably/unloadably freely. CONSTITUTION:A bed main body 2 is provided with the back part base plate 22 mounted freely turnably round a turning shaft 25 at one end of the center base part 21, and the foot part base plate 23 mounted freely turnably round a turning shaft 26 at the other end of the center base part 21. The back part base plate 22 and the foot part base plate 23 are folded on the center base part 21 by turning centering about the turning shaft 25 and the turning shaft 26, respectively. After they are folded, they are mounted freely on the bed main body 2 by turning with a hinge 29 whose cover 4 is provided on the side edge of the center base part 21. In this way, when the bed for nursing, is not used as the bed 2, an article can be placed on it by placing the cover 4 on the center base part 21, or a person can sit on the bed, or it can be used by preventing from being the hindrance. |
