PURPOSE:To effectively remove soot and odor or the like and also improve the reliability of fire prevention and simplify peripheral equipment. CONSTITUTION:A device 6 for removing soot or the like is fitted to a ceiling 4 of a kitchen 2 above a heat source 5 such as a range and a fryer. The device 6 for removing soot or the like is surrounded with a hood 8 made of stainless steel opened downward. The upper part of the device 6 for removing soot or the like is opened, and is connected to a suction duct 12 having a fan 10. The device 6 for removing soot or the like is constituted of a device body 14 connected to the suction duct 12, aqueous film forming plates 16 fitted to both ends of the device body 14 in a state of hanging down, and an emergency cooling unit 18 fitted to the inside of the upper part of the device body 14. |
