<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a setup space for the line side, by conveying a glass pane in a glass pane feed passage so as to cause the cross direction to face toward the longitudinal direction, and carrying it in a transfer station. CONSTITUTION:Each of glass panes b1 and b2 is set on a pallet 16 having plural suction cups attracting these panes by suction, and conveyed in a glass pane feed passage 2 so as to cause the cross direction to face toward the longitudinal direction. And, they are carried into each of transfer stations 2a1 and 2a2 as being left in the direction intact, and transferred together with the pallet 16 onto each of robots 41 and 42 by each of transfer devices 71 and 72 as keeping the cross direction directed to the longitudinal direction intact.
