PURPOSE:To obtain processed rice pellets capable of simply cooking whichever rice may be used and eating as cooked rice. CONSTITUTION:These processed rice pellets, comprise forming rice, in which starch is previously pre-gelatinized, into pellets and drying the pellets. A small amount of calcium, embryo bud and a vegetable fiber may previously preferably added before obtaining the processed rice pellets. The processed rice pellets can be obtained by heating hydrated raw material rice by an extruder to pre- gelatinize the rice, forming the pre-gelatinized rice into pellets and further drying the pellets. |
