<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform rational designing by obtaining an operation stroke of a radius or more for a cam gear without reducing the operating force of a control slide. SOLUTION: A control member driving mechanism for a magnetic recording/ reproducing device comprises a cam gear 1 having a cam groove 2 and rotated forward and backward and a control slide 8 having a pin 9 engaged with the cam groove and linearly reciprocated according to each operation mode, a pinion gear 3 is formed in the cam gear, and a rack gear part 8a is provided in a control member and engaged with/moved away from the pinion gear. The cam groove is formed to be passed from the specified place of the cam gear to the vicinity of its center and toward the outer periphery of the cam gear again, and a follow-up pin is linearly moved in a distance equivalent to a radius or more of the cam gear.</p> |
