<p>System for locating and controlling mobile objects in a tridimensional space. In the controlled objects (E) there are provided a precise time piece, a sensor (P) for detecting the vertical distance to a reference surface (S) and a device capable of emitting in the form of electromagnetic waves the information from both former devices. At the control point which is on the reference surface (S), a directional receiver antenna (A), a gyroscope, another precise time piece synchronized with the first time piece and a data processing unit (C) are used. By comparing the data of both timers as a function of the propagation velocity of the waves in the medium where they are immersed, the distance (d) which separates them can be calculated. From said distance (d), from the transmitted vertical distance (P) and from the wave direction (α), the horizontal distance (D) from the object to the control point can be determined. This system can be used to locate divers from support vessels.</p> |
