PURPOSE:To provide an auxiliary tool that can be mounted easily to a cap for a liquid container such as an oil tank and that is fixed firmly so that it does not come off the cap flange when pulled with strong force to open the cap. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary tool is & mounted on a cap 4 constituted of a plug 7, a flange 8 integral with the plug 7, and a closely fitting part 9 formed round the plug 7. The tool is provided with a ring-shaped cap holding member 30 formed in such a way that it surrounds the lower part of the flange 8, and a handle 20 connected to the cap holding member 30 so that it can swivel. The inside diameter of the cap holding member 30 is approximately equal to the outside diameter of part of the plug 7 under the flange 8. A cut is formed in the cap holding member 30 to separate the ring-shaped part, and the handle 20 is connected removably across the both sides of the cut. |
