<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment by which traffic is not obstructed by a windshield wiper without making a wiring long, which connects a card reading means to an antenna. SOLUTION: In an automatic toll collecting system for collecting a toll by executing radio traffic between communication equipment arranged in a tollgate and on-vehicle communication equipment, a communication equipment main body 1 for a vehicle is arranged in the front part of a ceiling inside the vehicle to be adjacent to the inner surface of a windshield 3 and the card reading means 10 is contained inside the main body 1 by turning a card inserting port 11 to an opening part 1a opened in the main body 1. The card reading means 10 is not disposed at one's feet so that in-vehicle residence property is improved and, then, traffic is not obstructed by the windshield wiper since the antenna 7 is not within the operation range of the windshield wiper.</p> |
