<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket examining machine that realizes smooth ticket examining processing. SOLUTION: The automatic ticket examining machine is provided with read means (24, 25) that makes radio communication with a ticket medium of a radio system in terms of a radio wave to read ticket information recorded on the ticket medium, a ticket examining means (10) that decides a ticket examination state on the basis of the ticket information read by the read means and controls the state of the automatic ticket examining machine into a ticket examination inhibit state or a ticket examination permission state on the basis of the result of ticket examining discrimination, detection means (26, 27) that detect a passenger passing through a ticket examination path, and a control means (10) that releases the ticket examination inhibit state on the conditions that communication with the ticket medium by the read means is interrupted and the detection means does not detect any passenger when the automatic ticket examining machine is controlled to be a state of ticket examination inhibit by the ticket examining means (10).</p> |
