These substances are useful in fixing mesangial cells, detecting abnormality in mesangial cells, etc. Moreover, it is expected that the function of mesangial cell can be disclosed based on the function of this protein and, in its turn, causes of mesangial cell-related diseases can be clarified. It is also expected that these substances are applicable to the treatment, diagnosis, etc. of mesangial cell-related diseases.
