PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint finishing method capable of creating a joint with good appearance by easily and reliably adhering a finishing material such as wall paper for a bottom joint or the like. SOLUTION: This joint finishing method for joint adhering finishing members 5 and 6 along the inner wall surfaces 11 to 13 of a joint 7 having a groove shape, comprises a process for adhering finish members 5 and 6, a process of pushing in an elastic, long and flexible rope-shaped filling member 8 and pushing and pressuring the finish members 5 and 6 by its elastic return force to the inner wall surface 11 to 13, and a process of taking out at least one end portion of the filling member 8 from the joint 7 which is projected out to the outer side from the joint 7 after elapsing a predetermined period of time following the adhesion of the finish members 5 and 6 pushed and pressured to the inner wall surfaces 11 to 13 of the joint 7 by the filling member 8.
