PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cork extractor which can easily pull out a cork in a short time without using a spiral body since it takes a long time period to thrust the spiral body into the cork and also it is difficult to correctly thrust the spiral body into the cork. SOLUTION: A bar body 2 having a sharp end is mounted by means of a pin 3 or the like to the forward end of a straight bar body 1 so as to be turnable. Under conditions that two bar bodies 1, 2 are in a straight line, if they are thrust straight into a cork so as to be passed through the cork, the bar body 2 is turned so as to be set horizontally by its own weight or by slight external vibration, and then the bar body 2 having a sharp end is captured by the bottom side of the cork, whereby the cork can be pulled off upwardly.
