PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base paper for heat sensitive stencil printing capable of processing without any aged change in the smoothness of the surface of a film even when the film is rolled and capable of obtaining the excellent quality of an image. SOLUTION: In the rolled base paper for heat sensitive stencil printing, which is constituted by a method wherein a porous substrate and a thermoplastic resin film are bonded and are rolled around a core so as to retain the surface of the substrate at outside, the curvature in the direction of the film for the base paper before being rolled at 23 deg.C under the relativity of 50% is in a range within the curvature of outer diameter of the rolling core and the curvature of the outer diameter of a product.
