PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge a lubricant reservoir part between a spacer and a ball, heighten retention of a lubricant, and to prevent lowering of ball circulating performance and minimize reduction of load capacity. SOLUTION: In this ball screw, the spacer 6 is interposed between balls 3, 3, provided in grooves 4, 5 of a screw shaft 1 and a nut 2. The spacer 6 is like a ring having a penetrating hole, and a recessed surface 8 of the spacer facing to the ball 3 is formed by plural conical surfaces 8a, 8b. Among the conical surfaces 8a, 8b, the conical surface 8a near the outer edge part of the space has an angle of inclination smaller than the angle of inclination of the other conical surface 8b, and preferably it is in non-contact with the ball 3.
